Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using Nyutabook. These terms govern your access to and use of all Nyutabook products.
1. Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Nyutabook in any way, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Description of service
Nyutabook is a digital gift ledger that allows host families to record gift transactions made at events. Nyutabook is not a payment processor, bank, or financial institution. We do not hold, process, or transmit funds. All payments occur directly through the UPI ecosystem between the guest and the host family.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age and a resident of India to create a Nyutabook account.
4. Account responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at hello@nyutabook.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
5. Payments and refunds
Nyutabook subscription fees are charged in advance. Annual plans may be refunded within 7 days of purchase. Lifetime Archive purchases may be refunded within 7 days. After these periods, fees are non-refundable. Free tier users are not charged.
6. Prohibited uses
You may not use Nyutabook to record illegal transactions, deceive guests, conduct fraud, or in any way violate applicable Indian law. Violation may result in immediate account termination.
7. Intellectual property
All content, branding, and software on Nyutabook is the property of Nyutabook and its licensors. Your gift data remains yours. We do not claim ownership of the records you create.
8. Limitation of liability
Nyutabook is provided "as is." We are not liable for any financial loss arising from use of the service, technical outages, or third-party UPI failures. Our total liability in any case is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the incident.
9. Changes to terms
We may update these terms. Continued use after 30 days from notification of a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Jaipur, Rajasthan.
